It took me a while to figure out just how I was going to make the gun for the A-10. Officially, it's the AN/GAU-8 Avenger, a seven barrel 30mm gattling gun. I used 1/8" aluminum tubing for the barrels, 5/8" x 6" copper tubing for the barrel shroud, and 7/8" x 6" copper tubing for the outer cover. The barrel guides were made out of 1/8" thick ABS plastic sheeting. It's all held together with thin CA glue. Although it's not totally to scale, I'm pleased with the outcome.
